1. Who we are
Mobile Arcades ("we", "us", "our") operates mobilearcades.com, an HTML5 game studio website. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit our site or contact us.
2. Contact form data
When you submit our contact form, we store:
- Name and email address (provided by you)
- Message content
- Your privacy consent confirmation
- Inquiry status and internal notes (for our response workflow)
We use this data only to read and reply to your message. We do not use it for marketing or sell it to third parties.
3. Anonymous site analytics
We measure basic traffic on our public pages to understand how the site is used. This is privacy-oriented:
- A random anonymous cookie (
ma_sid) identifies returning visitors — not you personally - Page paths viewed (e.g. /, /contact) and timestamps
- Aggregated counts: visitors, returning visitors, page views
We do not store IP addresses, email addresses, full names, or browser fingerprints in our analytics database. Admin pages (/admin) are not tracked.
4. Cookies
ma_sid— anonymous analytics (up to 12 months)ma_admin_session— admin login only (studio use, not set for public visitors)
We do not use third-party advertising or social media tracking cookies.
5. Hosting and technical logs
Our site is hosted on Vercel and our database on Supabase. These providers may process server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, request time) for security and operation. We do not merge those logs into our analytics dashboard.
6. Why we use your data
- To respond to contact form submissions
- To operate and secure our website and admin dashboard
- To measure anonymous site traffic (no profiling)
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable
7. Legal basis (EEA/UK visitors)
Where GDPR applies: contact data is processed based on your consent (checkbox on the form) and our legitimate interest in operating our business. Analytics cookies are used based on legitimate interest in understanding site usage; you may block cookies in your browser. You may withdraw consent or object by contacting us.
8. Retention
- Contact messages — until deleted by us or you request deletion, unless legally required to keep
- Analytics — aggregated; raw page view records may be deleted periodically
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us via the contact page.
10. Children
Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
